The Home Energy Controller (HEC) is an advanced, in-home display for use with multi-utility smart metering for real-time energy display. The HEC integrates energy efficiency, account management and heating controls into a single interface, helping consumers to manage their energy spend and carbon footprint. It features a clear, easy-to-use, colour-rich touch screen to enhance data accessibility and can show historic consumption and costs.
The Home Energy Controller can be used with remote communications to provide messaging directly to the consumer with profile data. The HEC is currently being used in trials with EDF.
